How to delete your data
You can have your data deleted from My Marketing Data at any time. My Marketing Data is an internal tool used by the Adsit Digital team to manage the ad accounts of the clients we work with — there is no app for you to log into. This page explains exactly how to have your data removed. Deletion requests are completed within 30 days, and there is no charge.
Option 1: Remove our access yourself
If you gave us access to a Meta ad account, you can cut off that access directly from your own account:
- In your Meta Business Manager, open Business settings.
- Go to Partners (or open the ad account and view its assigned partners), and find Adsit Digital.
- Remove us as a partner, or un-assign the ad account from us.
This ends our access immediately. We stop collecting from that account right away and delete the data we collected from it within 30 days.
Option 2: Ask us to delete everything
Email forrest@adsitdigital.com with the subject line "Data deletion request". Tell us whether you want specific data removed or everything we hold for your business deleted.
When we receive your request, we will:
- reply within 3 business days with a confirmation number for your request;
- delete the data within 30 days;
- email you when the deletion is complete.
You can check the status of a request at any time by replying to that email with your confirmation number. If any part of a request can't be completed (for example, a billing record the tax authorities require us to keep), we'll tell you exactly what was kept and why.
If you're not a client of Adsit Digital
Your information might appear in My Marketing Data because a business we work with is advertising to you or has you in their records — for example, you filled out one of their Facebook or Instagram lead forms. We hold that data on that business's behalf. Email forrest@adsitdigital.com with the subject line "Data deletion request" and we will either delete what we're able to delete or connect you with the business that controls the record, and we'll tell you which of those happened.
